Love on the Farm

EEK! Here it goes FIRST blog post. I have decided to start a mini blog on my website … NOT because I am a good writer or will I changes lives. I simply am hoping to honor and spotlight the amazing couples I work with. Highlight the reasoning behind decisions we made, the challenges we faced and the love & laughter that was had.

As a planner you spend endless hours meeting, emailing, text messaging, instagram messaging … (and it goes on) with your clients. This makes the wedding day a little emotional. Yes you are emotional from the love story, beautiful families, dances ..(ect) but I am also sad that our journey together and relationship (friendship) will end after this day! Sure we can stay in contact and watch our lives and families grow . But our daily talks and messages end here. SOOO I have decided to close the final chapter with a small blog post on the couple, their adventure and the celebration we create as a team!

Here is Michelle & Jaret…

Michelle & Jaret were as sweet as they come. Both wanted a very casual California wedding. Drinks will be served, yummy food to eat and two families will join in marriage.

Michelle chose their venue because it was "totally their style"... and I literally heard guest & bridal party say that as they arrived to the venue.

Their style was elegant & classy but NOT stiff, very rustic & fun. Here are some highlights { all vendors listed below}

The Ceremony:

The ceremony was a beautiful catholic ceremony outdoors in a garden overlooking the hills and trees of Rancho Santa Fe.The ceremony was set with a beautiful wooden Arch decorated and floralized by Urban Garden Floral. Garland draping down the aisle chairs with bubbles & water set in the rose garden. Michelle wore a long veil, carried her beautiful bouquet and was full of smiles and giggles as her father walked her down the aisle...

The Reception:

Dinner was served family style, wine and bubbles table side and sweet words and toasts to the newly weds..

Dancing and dessert was served in the barn. Girl scout cookies galore, endless brownies, donuts & sweets by (

As the night ended Pizza was served! Guests grabbed their slices and headed to their after party! The night was beautiful! Cheers to Michelle & Jaret!
